Our strawberry cake and icing start with whole fresh strawberries which are washed, sliced, pureed and reduced down. The reduction is chilled and then added to our cake batter and buttercream. There are no artificial flavors or freeze dried fruits here! This cake is two layers with strawberry butter cream between and strawberries placed on top!
